We are a fine-free library
In January 2023, the Library Board of Trustees voted to designate the Catlin Public Library District as a fine free library. Our items will be due back in one month with no renewals. If you need to have an item for longer than a month and we can check it out to you again. If you do have a book checked out past that due date, you will receive overdue notifications on your account. After the third overdue notification, the book will be declared lost and you will be charged the cost to replace that item. If you return the item that was declared lost, the replacement fee will come off of your account and you will have a $0.00 balance again.
If you have lost or damaged a book, please come to the library to pay the amount to replace it as soon as possible.
If you check out materials from other libraries, they may have a different due date.
